I think this is mildly aesthetically displeasing, and comes from the fact that you get "bonus" points for winning both games in a round. Whether it is a poor system or not, though, is debatable (I am uncertain either way, but I definitely think it deserves very close scrutiny).
I think that W-L-T statistics are generally used in systems in which all wins are equivalent, all losses are equivalent, and all ties are equivalent. This is explicitly not true in this system.
I think that more relevant stats would be:
BW-LW-T-LL-BL
BW = "Big Win"
LW = "Little Win"
T = "Tie"
LL = "Little Loss"
BL = "Big Loss"
In which case the comparison is:
CitizenFry: 3-0-1-1-0
Hollis: 3-1-0-0-1
When looking at the stats this way, the aesthetics aren't nearly as bad as 3-1-1 vs. 4-1-0.
(Note that I'm not aiming to disagree with you as much as provide an alternate perspective on how to visualize the statistics. I agree that the results aren't immediately intuitive.)
