Why do you care how people play when in a casual setting? If they are having fun isn't that good enough?
This is so obvious that I wonder why you ask. I'm not saying that you must play one way or another.
My point is that 15 years ago, everybody play 2 games for a match. It was a recommendation written in the rules.
It's no longer in the rules. It's a difference between the two games that hasn't been spotted before.
It helps to understand why the new players choose to play one side only, and that some players record their plays differently.
I give my opinion that there is no guaranty that both sides are balanced.
Said otherwise: it doesn't matter if both sides aren't balanced if you play both sides during a match.
